We are also home to an Amtrak station in downtown Kelso.  Kelso Train Station, formerly known as the Kelso Burlington Northern Train Depot, has been undergoing an extensive renovation since September 1994. It was formally dedicated on September 23, 1995.

in 2009, the City of Kelso opened Rotary Skate Park. This park is a top of the line Board, Bike and inline skate park. Hours are dawn to dusk. This new addition offers an entertaining, thrill seeking place to stop by and play.

In addition, the community hosts the annual Highlander Festival which is held in September.
